REMINDER:  Deadline is November 6th!  Phase 3 Provider Relief: All providers who previously received, rejected or accepted a General Distribution Provider Relief Fund payment are eligible for additional funds. They will first prioritize providers who have not yet received funds equal to 2% of revenue from patient care and bring their allocation to that level. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 1, 2020 Contact: HHS Press Office 202-690-6343 media@hhs.gov Trump Administration Announces $20 Billion in New Phase 3 Provider Relief Funding Today, under the leadership of President Trump, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), is announcing $20 billion in new funding for providers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. Under this Phase 3 General Distribution allocation, providers that have already received Provider Relief Fund payments will be invited to apply for additional funding that considers financial losses and changes in operating expenses caused by the coronavirus.

FY 2021 Hospice Wage Index Final Rule The new rule can be found here and a fact sheet can found here. Of note – the modified election statement and addendum requirements were finalized by CMS and will be effective for hospice admissions effective October 1, 2020. The market basket was updated by 2.4% and the FY2021 cap amount is $30,683.93.
